ADER's approach
By acquiring and consolidating their abilities and skills, the underprivileged populations obtain general and technical knowledge allowing them to become autonomous. By the means of a long term development approach, these populations become active contributors to their own development.
"Capacity building"
Capacity building aims at involving and giving responsibility to the vulnerable populations concerning :
- The setting up, the development and the human, business and financial management of a project as well as the monitoring of its implementation.
- Credit systems expertise : awareness of the need for saving schemes and the workings of credit plans.
- Civil society : its role, the procedures of organisation and participation.
- The role of women : knowledge and protection of their rights.
- The protection of fundamental rights : access to land, water, etc.
Technical training programmes
Technical training programmes are a part of professional projects. Through the acquisition of skills, the underprivileged populations become active members in the economic development, generating jobs and wealth, notably concerning :
- Construction, water supply and solar energy.
- Income generating activities (sewing, weaving, alternative agriculture, etc.).
