Exhibition « the untouchables in India »: discrimination and caste society » 5th June 2007 at 7.00 pm at Sciences Po - 27, rue Saint-Guillaume. 75007 Paris

This exhibition organised in partnership with Sciences Po is a parallel action to projects implemented by ADER in India for the respect of Dalits’ rights. The exhibition also aims at initiating a civic reflexion on a debate that concerns every one of us: discrimination and respect of human rights.Download the flyer

European ADER – GRDR workshop “migration and development”, 24th and 25th April 2007, Paris

ADER organise in partnership with the GRDR a workshop which will associate migrants, migrant associations and representatives of the authorities. This workshop will be the opportunity for organizations, especially the European NGOs, to refine and coordinate their positions in accordance with the new stakes of the immigration-cooperation-development nexus.
The event is supported by the Fondation de France, CCFD and the French Foreign Ministry.

ADER was awarded the International Solidarity Prize
February 1st, 2007 - ADER was awarded the International Solidarity Prize of the Haut Conseil de la Coopération Internationale (HCCI) for a project strengthening the Kolar Gold Field Women Association implemented by ADER in Karnataka state, India. The HCCI was created under the aegis of the French prime minister. A ceremony will be organizedon the 20th February 2007 at the Foreign Ministry.

Impact study of 5 post tsunami projects funded by the Fondation de France – Tamil Nadu, India
February 1st, 2007 - The NGOs' Co-ordination and Information Office set up by ADER has coordinated and written the 1st phase of the impact study for projects financed or co financed by the Fondation de France. This qualitative study is based mainly on interviews of local beneficiaries, volunteers, animators. The study was presented on December 21st 2006 at the Fondation de France. It aims at capitalising on the methods implemented by the French NGOs and the local partners in post tsunami projects.

Intervention guide for NGOs in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry
February 1st, 2007 - The NGOs' Co-ordination and Information Office had the idea of this guide as most post tsunami projects are ending. This guide is addressed to solidarity NGOs willing to implement projects in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu. It presents general information, thematic issues and a detailed directory of more than 100 local NGOs.

Seminar « Sharing perspectives on humanitarian policy and practices», 13, 14 & 15 November 2006. Pondicherry, India
November 13-15th, 2006 - ADER recently participated in the seminar entitled "Sharing perspectives on humanitarian policy and practices" on November 13th, 14th and 15th in Pondicherry. ADER's local expertise, gained through the management of the ADER - Fondation de France NGO information office in Pondicherry, was shared through a workshop entitled "How to sustain funding levels in post-emergency context? ".
